The Glencairn Subdivision is an established community located in the Northwest section of unincorporated Harris County. Glencairn is a community comprised of 2,642 homes located by major cross roads of Highway 6 North, Clay Road & Barker Cypress.
We are centrally located near Houston’s Energy Corridor, with headquarters of major companies such as British Petroleum (BP) & ConocoPhillips (COP) less than 10 miles away. We are surrounded by many hospitals including Texas Children’s Hospital West Campus & Houston Methodist West. Our neighborhood has access to major thoroughfares such as 290, I-10 West and Grand Parkway SH-99. Located just a few miles from our community is Bear Creek Pioneers Parks. The park is a family favorite for picnics, BBQ, feeding the resident animals or just for taking a stroll or run along the two (2) mile track.
Our community is also close to shopping malls, outlets, restaurants and the Congressman Bill Archer Dog Park.
Glencairn is proud to boast that we have many amenities for a nominal, annual homeowner’s association (HOA) fee. The community offers two (2) pools, a tennis court, an upcoming splash pad as well as three (3) District 4 Harris County Sheriff Deputies dedicated to patrol Glencairn. Glencairn is also happy to have the swim team Glencairn Piranhas call our subdivision their home.
Our children attend schools located in the Cypress Fairbanks and Katy Independent School Districts.
Our homes are on average 1,500 to 2,100 sq ft. single family homes. Our homes are solid, well constructed homes with spacious yards and mature trees. We are a deed restricted community that understands the importance of maintaining a well established neighborhood to keep property values up.
